YouTube RPM and CPM in Spain
YouTube RPM in Spain is about $3.91 per 1,000 views on Lenos's estimate, the only RPM this page quotes (YT Money Calculator's "Creator RPM" is left out, see below), and published CPM estimates run from $3.50 to $14.22. Google publishes no official figure for any country. Below: every estimate with its date, how Spain compares with the Spanish-speaking and European markets around it, and what 100,000 views work out to.

Every published estimate for Spain
Google publishes no CPM or RPM figure by country — not in YouTube Help, not in the Analytics documentation. These are the third-party sources this site tracks that cover Spain, with the date each last updated its figures. We re-read them against this table on November 3, 2026.
| Source | Updated | CPM | RPM | Stated method |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| YT Money Calculator | Mar 13, 2026 | $3.50–$8.00 | not published | February–March 2026 averages across all niches. No further method stated. |
| Lenos | Apr 2, 2026 | $14.22 | $3.91 | States only that the authors reviewed channel data and dashboards. No method stated. |
Across these sources the highest CPM estimate is 4.1× the lowest ($14.22 against $3.50). Lenos's single figure ($14.22) is above the top of YT Money Calculator's range ($3.50–$8.00).
Lenos's RPM in Spain is 27.5% of its own CPM. Lenos gives the same share, to within a tenth of a percentage point, to 4 other countries (Sweden, Finland, Japan and Portugal), so its RPM reads as the CPM multiplied by a fixed factor rather than a separate measurement; Lenos itself labels the column an estimation. YT Money Calculator also prints a "Creator RPM" column, which it describes as 55% of CPM; this page leaves it out, because RPM is not CPM × 0.55 (checked November 3, 2026).
Spain against its neighbours
Compared with the countries that share its language or its region, and with the larger markets its channels can reach. The CPM column is YT Money Calculator alone — the one source that covers nearly every country here — so the ratio compares like with like; RPM is Lenos's. In the last column 1.00× is Spain itself and 2.00× would be double its CPM.
| Country | CPM (YT Money Calculator) | RPM (Lenos) | CPM vs Spain |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spain | $3.50–$8.00 | $3.91 | 1.00× |
| Mexico | $1.60–$3.50 | $0.62 | 0.44× |
| Argentina | $0.90–$2.20 | $0.56 | 0.27× |
| Portugal | $2.50–$5.50 | $2.84 | 0.70× |
| France | $6.00–$11.00 | no estimate | 1.48× |
| Italy | $4.00–$8.00 | no estimate | 1.04× |
| Germany | $10.00–$18.00 | $6.20 | 2.43× |
By the midpoint of every published CPM, Spain is No. 18 of the 38 countries this site has estimates for; by Lenos's RPM it is No. 15 of 29.
What sets ad rates in Spain
Spanish is also spoken across Latin America, and YouTube prices a view by where the viewer is, not by the language of the video. On YT Money Calculator Spain's CPM ($3.50–$8.00) sits well above Mexico's ($1.60–$3.50) and Argentina's ($0.90–$2.20), and Lenos agrees ($14.22 against $1.41 and $1.10). A Spanish-language channel's RPM therefore depends less on Spain's rate than on how its audience splits between Spain and the Americas — the Geography card in YouTube Analytics shows that split.
Within Europe the same source places Spain below Germany ($10.00–$18.00) and France ($6.00–$11.00), close to Italy ($4.00–$8.00) and above Portugal ($2.50–$5.50). Lenos reads Spain much higher, at $14.22, but it reads Portugal higher too ($10.32), so Spain stays above Portugal on both.
YouTube's own explanation is short: advertisers choose which geographies their ads reach, and different locations have different levels of competition in the ad market. The season moves it too — many advertisers bid higher just before holidays. So when the share of your viewers in each country shifts, your CPM shifts with it (YouTube Help, verified November 3, 2026).
Worked example: 100,000 views in Spain
At Lenos's RPM of $3.91 per 1,000 views, 100,000 monthly views from viewers in Spain come to about $391 a month, and 1,000,000 views to about $3,910.
Few channels draw from one country. If half of those 100,000 views — 50,000 — came from Mexico instead, where the same source puts RPM at $0.62, the month would come to about $227 rather than $391.
This is arithmetic on one publication's estimate, not a forecast. Your real RPM, split by country, is in YouTube Studio under Analytics → Revenue, on the Geography card.
Getting paid in Spain: currency and threshold
AdSense pays YouTube earnings once the balance reaches the payment threshold, which Google sets per reporting currency. For an account whose reporting currency is the euro, it is €70 (AdSense Help, verified November 3, 2026).
When an advertiser pays in another currency, AdSense converts at the prevailing market rate from the day before the ads were shown. If your bank account is in yet another currency, your bank may convert a second time at its own rate (AdSense Help).
With valid tax info submitted, only the earnings from viewers in the United States are subject to US tax withholding: 0–30%, depending on whether your country has a tax treaty with the US. If no tax info is provided, Google may be required to deduct up to 24% of your total earnings worldwide (YouTube Help, verified November 3, 2026).
The country sets the rate; hours on air set the views. TheLoops keeps a stream live on YouTube 24/7 from the cloud, so viewers in Spain and everywhere else find it running whenever they look.

Only on the views that come from Spain. YouTube prices each view by where the viewer is, so the same Spanish-language video is priced at Mexico's rates for viewers in Mexico ($1.60–$3.50 CPM on YT Money Calculator) and Spain's for viewers in Spain ($3.50–$8.00). The Geography card in YouTube Analytics shows which countries your views and revenue come from.
Spain, on every source that covers both. Lenos puts RPM at $3.91 for Spain and $0.62 for Mexico.
About $3.91 per 1,000 views, on Lenos's estimate (updated April 2, 2026) — the only RPM this page quotes for Spain; YT Money Calculator also prints a "Creator RPM", which it describes as about 55% of CPM, so it is left out. Google publishes no official figure. Your own RPM, split by country, is in YouTube Studio under Analytics → Revenue.
Published estimates run from $3.50 to $14.22: YT Money Calculator $3.50–$8.00 (updated March 13, 2026); Lenos $14.22 (updated April 2, 2026). They disagree because none of the sources says which of YouTube's CPM figures it means, and none describes its method in more than a sentence or two.
About $391 at Lenos's estimated RPM of $3.91, and about $3,910 for 1,000,000 views — if every view comes from Spain. Views from other countries earn their own rates, and RPM moves with niche and season.
