YouTube RPM and CPM in the Philippines

YouTube RPM in the Philippines is about $0.15 per 1,000 views on Lenos's estimate, the only RPM this page quotes (YT Money Calculator's "Creator RPM" is left out, see below), and published CPM estimates run from $0.45 to $1.00. Google publishes no official figure for any country. The Philippines has the lowest RPM Lenos publishes for any country, and the CPM alone does not explain why.

Every published estimate for the Philippines

Google publishes no CPM or RPM figure by country — not in YouTube Help, not in the Analytics documentation. These are the third-party sources this site tracks that cover the Philippines, with the date each last updated its figures. We re-read them against this table on November 3, 2026.

LenosApr 2, 2026$0.48$0.15States only that the authors reviewed channel data and dashboards. No method stated.

Across these sources the highest CPM estimate is 2.2× the lowest ($1.00 against $0.45). Lenos's single figure ($0.48) falls inside YT Money Calculator's range ($0.45–$1.00).

Lenos's RPM in the Philippines is 31.3% of its own CPM. YT Money Calculator also prints a "Creator RPM" column, which it describes as 55% of CPM; this page leaves it out, because RPM is not CPM × 0.55 (checked November 3, 2026).

The Philippines against its neighbours

Compared with the countries that share its language or its region, and with the larger markets its channels can reach. The CPM column is YT Money Calculator alone — the one source that covers nearly every country here — so the ratio compares like with like; RPM is Lenos's. In the last column 1.00× is the Philippines itself and 2.00× would be double its CPM.

By the midpoint of every published CPM, the Philippines is No. 34 of the 38 countries this site has estimates for; by Lenos's RPM it is No. 29 of 29.

What sets ad rates in the Philippines

Lenos's RPM for the Philippines, $0.15 per 1,000 views, is the lowest it publishes for any country here, below Pakistan ($0.20) and Bangladesh ($0.33). Yet its CPM for the Philippines ($0.48) is not the lowest: it is about two-thirds of Indonesia's ($0.74), while Lenos's RPM for Indonesia, $0.41, is nearly three times as much. Lenos does not explain the difference.

Within Southeast Asia, YT Money Calculator places the Philippines ($0.45–$1.00) above Indonesia ($0.40–$0.95) and Vietnam ($0.35–$0.85) and below Thailand ($0.70–$1.60) and Malaysia ($0.55–$1.30). Singapore ($7.00–$12.00) is in a different bracket altogether.

YouTube prices each view by where the viewer is. For a channel in the Philippines, views from the United States are priced at US rates — $10.81 RPM on Lenos — and those are also the only views on which US tax is withheld once tax info is on file (see below).

YouTube's own explanation is short: advertisers choose which geographies their ads reach, and different locations have different levels of competition in the ad market. The season moves it too — many advertisers bid higher just before holidays. So when the share of your viewers in each country shifts, your CPM shifts with it (YouTube Help, verified November 3, 2026).

Worked example: 100,000 views in the Philippines

At Lenos's RPM of $0.15 per 1,000 views, 100,000 monthly views from viewers in the Philippines come to about $15 a month, and 1,000,000 views to about $150.

Few channels draw from one country. If half of those 100,000 views — 50,000 — came from the United States instead, where the same source puts RPM at $10.81, the month would come to about $548 rather than $15.

This is arithmetic on one publication's estimate, not a forecast. Your real RPM, split by country, is in YouTube Studio under Analytics → Revenue, on the Geography card.

Getting paid in the Philippines: currency and threshold

AdSense pays YouTube earnings once the balance reaches the payment threshold, which Google sets per reporting currency — and the Philippine peso (PHP) is not among the 28 currencies in Google's table. For an account reporting in US dollars it is $100 (AdSense Help, verified November 3, 2026).

When an advertiser pays in another currency, AdSense converts at the prevailing market rate from the day before the ads were shown. If your bank account is in yet another currency, your bank may convert a second time at its own rate (AdSense Help).

With valid tax info submitted, only the earnings from viewers in the United States are subject to US tax withholding: 0–30%, depending on whether your country has a tax treaty with the US. If no tax info is provided, Google may be required to deduct up to 24% of your total earnings worldwide (YouTube Help, verified November 3, 2026).

The country sets the rate; hours on air set the views. TheLoops keeps a stream live on YouTube 24/7 from the cloud, so viewers in the Philippines and everywhere else find it running whenever they look.

Questions about YouTube RPM in the Philippines

Partly because the CPM is low — YT Money Calculator puts it at $0.45–$1.00 — and partly, on Lenos's figures, for a reason the source does not give: its RPM for the Philippines is $0.15 against $0.41 for Indonesia, whose CPM is only about half as high again. Treat it as one publication's estimate; your own RPM by country is in YouTube Studio under Analytics → Revenue.

About $0.15 per 1,000 views, on Lenos's estimate (updated April 2, 2026) — the only RPM this page quotes for the Philippines; YT Money Calculator also prints a "Creator RPM", which it describes as about 55% of CPM, so it is left out. Google publishes no official figure. Your own RPM, split by country, is in YouTube Studio under Analytics → Revenue.

Published estimates run from $0.45 to $1.00: YT Money Calculator $0.45–$1.00 (updated March 13, 2026); Lenos $0.48 (updated April 2, 2026). They disagree because none of the sources says which of YouTube's CPM figures it means, and none describes its method in more than a sentence or two.

About $15 at Lenos's estimated RPM of $0.15, and about $150 for 1,000,000 views — if every view comes from the Philippines. Views from other countries earn their own rates, and RPM moves with niche and season.
